Features and Applications
Similar to EFKA 4061, S-9899 is a high-performance modified polyurethane dispersing additive, engineered to deliver exceptional anti-settling and anti-sagging properties for both solvent-based and water-based coating systems, ensuring long-term stability of coating formulations during storage and application. It adopts advanced steric stabilization (spatial hindrance) technology, which effectively deflocculates agglomerated pigments and inorganic fillers, ensuring uniform dispersion of solid particles throughout the coating system.
This versatile dispersant significantly reduces mill-base viscosity during the pigment grinding process, effectively improving the overall fluidity of coatings and resin systems, while boosting production efficiency by shortening grinding cycles and reducing energy consumption. It greatly enhances surface gloss, color brilliance and film fullness, optimizing color development to achieve vivid, consistent color presentation for various coating formulations.
In addition, S-9899 effectively improves coating transparency and hiding power, eliminating common surface defects such as haze, floating color and flooding. It delivers stable, high-quality finishing results, making it an ideal choice for water-based paints, printing inks, various industrial primers and anti-settlement coating systems, meeting the high standards of professional industrial and automotive coating applications.

Application and Addition Amount
Applications:

Usage & Dosage:
- Recommended Dosage: Standard: 0.1% – 10% of the total formula
- Incorporation: Add during the pigment grinding or paint mixing stage to ensure uniform and optimal dispersion
