S-617 is a high-performance silicone leveling agent engineered with superb substrate wetting capabilities, delivering a reliable and effective solution to adhesion issues caused by insufficient surface tension across various professional coating systems. It integrates excellent shrinkage resistance and reliable water resistance with specialized flow-aid technology, which significantly enhances Distinctness of Image (DOI) for premium coating finishes.
This unique formulation ensures a high-clarity, crystal-clear paint film, with zero risk of haze, blue tint, or reduced light transmittance, making it an ideal choice for both transparent coating systems and pigmented formulation systems alike. Boasting outstanding compatibility, this additive will not migrate or float on the coating surface, guaranteeing a stable, turbidity-free, and uniform final finish.
It also features superior recoating performance, supporting multiple overlaying layers without compromising inter-coat adhesion or overall film clarity.
