Features and Applications
Similar to Momentive Silwet 408, S-608 is a high-performance nonionic silicone surfactant, specially engineered as a premium superspreader for advanced agricultural and crop protection applications. It boasts super-extended wettability that drastically reduces the surface tension of spray solutions, enabling rapid and uniform surface coverage, while significantly expanding the effective action area of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
Beyond excellent surface spreading performance, S-608 promotes superior stomatal penetration into plant tissues, ensuring active ingredients of agricultural chemicals are absorbed more efficiently by crops, even under challenging environmental and application conditions. Its unique and stable chemical structure delivers high compatibility in both aqueous and oil-based formulations, effectively preventing chemical runoff and greatly enhancing rainfastness of sprayed solutions.
By optimizing the overall diffusion and absorption efficiency of agricultural chemicals, S-608 supports reduced spray volume usage while boosting bio-efficacy, making it an essential and reliable additive for precision farming, modern agricultural production, and high-efficiency crop protection management. It also performs well in industrial coating and ink scenarios, delivering consistent wetting results.

Application and Addition Amount
Applications:
- Agrochemical field: Herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and pesticide coverage enhancement

- Printing Inks: Various water and solvent-based ink formulations
Usage & Dosage:
- Recommended Dosage: Standard: 0.01% – 0.5% of the total formula
- Incorporation: Add during the mixing stage of formulations to ensure uniform and optimal distribution
