S-1484 is a high-performance organic silicon surface additive designed as a direct alternative to TEGO-1484, offering a perfect balance of excellent leveling and powerful degassing properties. Specifically engineered for solvent-free and high-solid systems, it significantly reduces surface tension to eliminate orange peel and craters while actively promoting the rapid release of entrapped air (micro-foam) during application.

Its dual-action chemistry ensures a flawless, mirror-like finish even in high-viscosity formulations or thick-film coatings. Widely used in industrial coatings, floor coatings, and high-solid wood finishes, S-1484 delivers high gloss, bubble-free surfaces without compromising inter-coat adhesion, making it a versatile choice for both clear and pigmented topcoats.
